A Hybrid Performance Event – Ritual Awakening Dance Party

Shed your winter skin and re-ignite your vernal flame through LUMINESCENCE at NACL. The next installment of not-to-be-missed Hybrid Performance Events in the Highland “Church of the Creators,” LUMINESCENCE promises an immersive sensory experience, beginning with a centering sound bath and spiraling to an illuminated “dance-state” of ecstatic awareness.

Your artist-guides will include Newburgh-based projectionist/light sculptor SNARK and the mother-daughter powerhouse straight outta Hankins, VJ/DJ Catsilk Mountain and — fresh off her musical circumnavigation of the globe — Uma DJ. Rounding out the sensory overload, you’ll enjoy an olfactory offering installed by Jill Wiener of Earthgirl Flowers.

Come early for the Sound Bath or late for the Dance or enjoy the progression and come for it all! Saturday, April 19th – Doors open at 7pm; Sound Bath at 7:30; Dance 8:30 - 11:30

Blankets will be available for the Sound Bath, but feel free to bring your own blanket or yoga mat.

The BibimBus will be on-site to power your dance with delicious Korean-inspired street food!
