Cara Francis is a multidisciplinary artist working in comedy, drag, film, commercial/pop music parody and interactive performance. They were a New York Neo-Futurist, writing for Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind (now The Infinite Wrench) from 2008-2017. Recent work includes: Dad (2019), a one-woman drag show about masculinity and the rise of Trumpism; Happy To See You (2017), a virtual reality dialogue system; and your drag grandmother Fantasy Grandma (2010-present). They are currently writing and directing a series of short films about love, performing drag as the boy band Earls2Gearls and the girl band We're For Men, and working on a musical about the future.
That musical and that future just might be colliding at NACL. But you’ll never know unless you show up in Highland Lake to see for yourself.
